I was born in 1965 to Lloyd E. and Pearl Strickland, the youngest of 6 children. My formative years were spent in the small south Georgia town of Blackshear were I graduated high school. I joined the USAF in 1985 and met my first wife who gave me a son. Discharged in 1987, I left the service to raise my boy. I married a second time to a hometown girl in 1988 and she gave me three beautiful girls. She and I divorced in 1991 and I raised the youngest of my girls until 1995. My third, and final, marriage is to a Milledgeville girl. She and I have been happily married for, now, almost 27 years and still going strong. My writings were developed mostly during the 4 years between my second and third marriage. I had time to contemplate life and my station in it. My faith had been tested and I came out the other end stronger and a little wiser.
