Time Envy

Time can't be stopped
or placed on a pedestal
or put in a box.
However, with Time,
we can Improve and Grow,
we can Forgive and Pray,
we can Love and Play
to the Dance of our own
Tick-Tocks.
If Time could talk,
she would say -
Do not envy...

Lazy Summer Days

Floating on a float with creampuff smiles,
and seafoam for miles.
Flipping hot sand through my perky toes.
Adding sun warmed lotion to my sunburned nose.
Watching the seagulls searching for more
as sandpipers scamper along the shore.

How unruly Passions can be.
Passions of Anger
bellows like a storm-tossed tree.

Passions of Hate
as the Willow, we'll weep.

Passions of Jealousy -
never shall we sleep.

But, Passions of Love
Embraces the Heart,
and above all others

My Faraway Friend

I just looked up in the sky
and saw a plane passing by.
To where you are my friend
I wish I could fly
for a visit of shopping,
dining and wine, and
time.
Time to spend.
Time to waste.
Time to let the day spin
as it may.
