rainbow

You are the rainbow that came when it rained,
spoke to me and took away my pain.
you filled my life with colors that I thought I could never regain,
and that was insane.
we were far apart and couldn't see each other,
that was the hard part
but...

I was never alone

I thought I was a broken piece of glass,
wondered if I could ever outlast
got anxious and scared,
even the people who cared started to compare,
and I was never prepared.
I dreamed of stars but ended up creating scars,
I didn't want to confide...
