I'm a child of God. Married to my soulmate my true love and my best friend. I have 3 wonderful kids that are all grown up I have 2 beautiful daughters that have made me a Mimaw to 1 beautiful granddaughter and 2 handsome grandsons. I have 1 handsome son. I have survived brutal rape at 13yrs old and walked away from abusive ex husband of 23yrs. I have kicked cancers ass been cancer free for 21yrs now. With everything that I have been threw I'm still have a giving and loving heart. I'm a fighter and strong beautiful 45yr old woman that writes what is in her heart. Poetry has saved my life. This is me.

As I feel the rain touch my skin I realize its not tears running down my face anymore. I'm free from your hold on me no more tears of sorrow will be coming out of my beautiful blue eyes. I was broken and I couldn't fly for years you kept me hidden...
