Mother's Day

For Mothers Day I wrote a Poem
to gift you with these words,
So I could tell you everything
     I know that you deserve,
A heart of gold & words of steel
to both comfort and to teach,
A problem solver with wise advice
     I'm Blessed within your reach,
Mothers Day is not one day
but many filled with thoughts,
Of happy times & tears of joy
That to all of us you have brought,
I'd wrap the world in ribbon & silk
And place it at your feet,
And everything you've taught & shown
I'll share with everyone I meet,
Everyday Is Mothers Day-
And every Mother Is A Queen,
     The giver of Life-
     The keeper of Peace-
And the Mother beside the King,
I cannot find A gift to say-
You mean the world to me,
So let me express my deepest love
Through the words of my Poetry,

                  By. Michael A Watkins
                            Happy Birthday Mokey.
